Day 1
Departure from Bucharest to Curtea de Arges (170 km ~ 21/2h). Visit of the Princely Church and the Monastery of Curtea de Arges. In the afternoon departure to Cozia through the river Olt Valley. Visit of Horezu Monastery. Accommodation in Ramnicu Valcea – Hotel Gemina ***. Overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast. Departure from Curtea de Arges to Sibiu (98 km ~ 2h). Visit of Bruckental Museum and trip to Sibiel (15 km away from Sibiu) with visit The Glass Icons Collection. Lunch at a peasant family (farm). In the afternoon return to Sibiu. Accommodation in Imparatul Romanilor hotel in Sibiu. Overnight.
Day 3
Breakfast. Departure to Sighisoara (80 km ~ 2h). Stop over in Sighisoara , a perfectly preserved medieval town. Visit to the house of Vlad Teped, nicknamed Dracula. The house has been turned into a museum and restaurant full of interesting flavors. Accommodation in Europa hotel. Overnight.
Day 4
Breakfast. Departure to Campulung Moldovenesc (245 km ~ 3h). Visit of the Wooden Museum. Visit of Voronet Monastery, the most beautiful monastery of Bucovina, visit of Humor Monastery. Accommodation in hotel Zimbrul in Campulung Moldovenesc. Overnight.
Day 5
Breakfast. Visit of Sucevita and Putna Monasteries. On the way to Iasi (200 km ~ 31/2h) visit of village of Marginea, famous for the collection of black ceramics. Visit of the historical center and “Trei Ierarhi” Church in Iasi. Accommodation in Iasi – hotel Moldova. Overnight.
Day 6
Breakfast. Departure from Iasi to Brasov (300 km ~ 4h). Arrival in Brasov, the second largest city in Romania. Visit this medieval trading center with Black Church, Saint Nicholas’ Church and the old Town Hall Square. Accomodation in Brasov – Mury villa ***. Overnight.
Day 7
Breakfast. Departure to Bran (35 km). Visit the Bran Castle and the surroundings, where you can admire a really picturesque landscape. Departure for Bucharest (230 km). On the way to Bucharest visit of Peles Castle in Sinaia.
French / English speaking guide, car rental, accommodation included..
